23 years of experience in the construction equipment industry led to the formation of BSCP in 2003, with offices

and the warehouse situated in Brackenfell, Western Cape. During May 2003 BSCP was awarded the distributorship of Briggs & Stratton products and spare parts for the Western Cape territory. This soon proved to be highly successful partnership. BSCP started to introduce the Briggs & Stratton engines in their construction machinery and was one of the first companies to offer the new range of Briggs & Stratton Vanguard commercial engines on their construction equipment.

With their Baumax range of machinery, they started to make inroads into markets that were historically dominated by Japanese brands. Briggs & Stratton are well known for their quality products and customer support. They offer the best value available for commercial customers as well as residential clients. BSCP has rapidly grown the Briggs & Stratton brand in the region, with their BS360 concrete mixer and BS90 plate compactor becoming industry benchmarks for quality and durability.

The BSCP technical staff is amongst the most astute in the industry, with vast experience on construction machinery and engines. They present yearly service schools for their dealers and clients in cooperation with Briggs & Stratton RSA. In 2014 they presented the Master Service Technician course.

New ProductsThere are a few new and exciting products on the way. One is the new commercial grade Briggs & Stratton 750 I/C DOV vertical shaft engine for push mowers. It is a lightweight commercial grade engine specifically designed and tested to meet the requirements of the most demanding users.

The other is the new Briggs & Stratton RS range of horizontal shaft engines for semi commercial applications. This product offering covers the 5HP to 13.5 HP power range.
