PROUDLY BROUGHT TO YOU EACH MONTH BY OREGON’S BEEF INDUSTRY ADVOCATE.

For more than 100 years, the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association (OCA), based in the state capitol of Salem, has been at the forefront of political and production issues impacting beef cattle ranchers in the Northwest United States. In addition to working around the clock to protect ranching interests on Oregon’s privately-owned and publicly owned rangelands, from the high desert to the Pacific Coast, OCA has also worked to keep ranchers updated on the issues impacting their livelihood through a number of communication efforts, primarly the Oregon Cattleman magazine.

With the latest beef cattle and agriculture news from within the Beaver State and beyond, this publication delivers the most up-to-date information for ranchers and is a go-to source for cattlemen and women and a prime source for cost-effective advertising targeted toward that audience.

Additionally, every dollar of “profit” is reinvested in the ranching community. Your advertising dollars not only deliver your ad to 2,500 ranching households statewide but also help fund critical efforts to benefit the ranching community like:

• Political Advocacy• Public and Private Land Issues• Environmental Stewardship• Young Cattlemen and CattleWomen Programs

Throughout the year, OCA publishes information relevant to the calendar season and our lobbying efforts in Salem and Washington, D.C. In addition to regular column updates, we publish various production information at specific times of the year. Our editorial calendar may help you, the advertiser, best decide when to place your advertisements. In addition each issue highlights recent events and all upcoming events.

For editorial input or information you would like to see included in this publication, please contact the staff at the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association or the publication’s managing editor.
