Officers Greetings from the Willard PTO! Welcome all Willard Wizards! It’s almost time to kick-off another school year. We look forward to working together to make the coming year one of the brightest for the Willard community! This mailing provides important information for the school year and includes: ● A PTO calendar, with dates for special events, PTO programs and school holidays. However, because calendars are always being updated, please refer to the District 90 and/or Willard School web sites to ensure you have the most current calendar information available; ● Contact information for PTO Officers and Committee Members; ● Willard PTO Web Store Instructions – how to sign up to volunteer, join activities and buy items like the yearbook and Fun Lunch; ● Important Dates for the first few weeks of school from the Welcome Wagon Committee and useful Fun Lunch ordering information. The PTO Web Store opens on August 15, 2018. The Web Store is the place to sign up and pay for PTO related activities such as Fun Lunch, FLIP (foreign language), yearbook and more. Student ID numbers (issued by District 90), teacher names and a credit card are required. If you have questions, please contact Katherine Nix at [email protected]. If you have questions about needing financial support, community resources or other referrals, contact Suzanne McLeese, our school social worker at [email protected] or 708-366-6740, ext. 8821. Stay informed throughout the year by reading the Wizard Weekly, the PTO’s weekly e-newsletter. Visit the PTO Web Site at Willard.district90.org to subscribe and stay in the know about what’s happening at Willard as well as various volunteer opportunities. PTO meetings are open to everyone and meeting minutes are posted on the PTO Web Site. Meetings are held both in the morning and in the evenings to better accommodate the schedules of busy Willard families. You’ll find dates and times for PTO meetings in this calendar. The PTO works because of you. Willard’s PTO exists to support our children’s education and the teachers and staff who guide their way. We cannot do this without your support. There is an opportunity for everyone to help - whether you can volunteer for one hour or you chair a committee. We hope you will join us!
