Mr. Shamanov had remained in office on the COP 22/CMP12/CMA 1.1 Bureau in accordance with rule 22.2 of the draft rules of procedure of the COP. 11 Mr. Diego Pacheco (Bolivia) was elected as an additional Vice-President of the CMA, in accordance with Article 16, paragraph 3, of the Paris Agreement, and served until 20 October 2017, when the Paris Agreement entered into force for Ecuador. 12 Current Officer will remain in office until his successor is elected in accordance with rule 22, para. 2, of the draft rules of procedure of the COP.
