RISSB’s annual Rail Safety Dinner will take place at Hillstone St Lucia from 19:00 on the evening of the 4th April 2017. This dinner is one of the highlights of the rail industry calendar and the perfect opportunity to network in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

Hillstone St Lucia is a premier award winning venue located 15 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Bus transfers to and from the dinner venue will be provided. Buses will depart from outside the Pullman King George Square at 18:45 sharp.

Hosted by Bombardier Transportation, attendees will visit the Queensland Government’s $190 million, state-of-the-art centre at Wulkuraka, west of Ipswich. The centre is responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) fleet. Officially opened in February 2016, the centre has specialist equipment including: a wheel-lathe and train lifting jacks, fully pitted roads, train cleaning and decanting facilities and an automated visual inspection system.
The tour will run from 8:00 – 12:00 inclusive of transfer time from and to the conference venue.
