Chain of Responsibility & Heavy Vehicle Safety Conference Monday 14 November 2016 DAY 1
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
Chain of Responsibility & Heavy Vehicle Safety 2016 will mark the 10th anniversary of this industry leading event. Starting on 1st August 2016, the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) started its largest ever health check on the mechanical condition of Australia’s heavy vehicle fleet - The National Roadworthiness Baseline Survey. Approximately 1.7% of the heavy vehicles across Australia will be inspected by Authorised Officers within each jurisdiction. This is the first time that heavy vehicles will be inspected against the same criteria using the NHVA manual. As the industry continues to work towards harmonisation and ensure compliance along the logistics chain, we will bring together operators, regulators and safety experts to discuss the evolving framework and share chain of responsibility and safety related case studies from their own businesses. We look forward to seeing you in Sydney in November for the milestone edition of this important event.
