Designed in 1923, the iconic public facades of the limestone

colonnade of Giant Order Ionic columns, Terra Cotta tiled window

surrounds frame and original cypress wooden windows have aged

well and are remarkably intact. The original revolving entry door

has been replaced with a balanced bronze entry door. In 1976, a

courtyard was added to the south end of the building.

On the inside, the building has two full floors, a mezzanine and a

basement. The main space is a two story volume with ornate

plaster work providing rich detailing at the ceiling coffers. The

mezzanine level overlooks the main space, and is enclosed by the

original plaster faced structural beam serving as a guardrail. The

basement contains the original vaults which will now serve as

conference rooms. In a 1976 renovation, a glass wall was

constructed on top of the guardrail to separate the mezzanine from

the main space.
