The Principal, Government Polytechnic, Mayurbhanj, Tikarpada invites Sealed Tenders from various reputed Firms/ publishers/Distributors/Authorized Dealers/Agencies having valid TIN/ SRIN/ PAN for the followings(As detailed vide Package-A & Package-B). Complete Bidding documents can only be downloaded from our website www.gpmayurbhanj.org.in and are required to be submitted along with the non-refundable bidding amount of Rs.1000.00 (Rupees One Thousand) only for each package in shape of demand draft from any Nationalised Bank in favour of “Principal, Government Polytechnic, Mayurbhanj, Tikarpada”, payable at Baripada. Further, the tender must be accompanied by the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Bid Security @ 1%of the total quoted value in shape of demand draft or Bank Guarantee in Annexure-I(Enclosed) from any Nationalised Bank in favour of “Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Mayurbhanj, Tikarpada”, payable at Baripada with copies of valid VAT Clearance Certificate, Income Tax Clearance Certificate and other relevant documents of the bidder failing which the bid will liable for rejection. The EMD shall be refunded to all unsuccessful bidders within 07 (Seven) days from the finalisation of tender. In case of successful bidder the same will be refunded within 15(Fifteen) days after completion of his supply/work. The EMD as well as Bid Amount any other forms like Cash, personal cheque etc. will not be accepted & in such case the bid shall be summarily rejected. Further, Tender submitted without or insufficient Bid amount or EMD is also liable for rejection. Bidders of the outside state are required to submit Odisha VAT clearance certificate along with the valid ITCC from the competent authority. The Bidders can submit their Sealed Tender by speed post/Registered post or can drop their bids in the sealed box kept in the Camp Office of the Principal, Government Polytechnic, Mayurbhanj, At-Purna Chandra Industrial Training Institute, Station Bazar, P.O.-Baripada, Dist.-Mayurbhanj (ODISHA), PIN- 757001 during all working days from 12.03.2016 to 29.03.2016 during Office hours & upto 12.00 noon of 29.03.2016. The same will be opened at 4.00 P.M. on 29.03.2016 in the aforesaid camp office in presence of the Bidders or their authorized representatives who ever may be present. Tender received after due date and time will not be entertained and the authority shall not be held responsible for delay or missing of the tender during postal/any other transit. (REFER ANNEXURE-III FOR LIST OF BOOKS). TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Flat Rate of discount on publisher’s price to be offered on all books. 2. Publisher’s Price list of books is to be submitted if printed price is not available on the book.

3. Books to be delivered on FOR basis free of transportation cost / delivery cost. 4. Validity of the offer should not be less than four months. 5. The Books must be of latest Editions. 6. Period of delivery after placement of order should be specified. 7. Any other charges not mentioned in the offer will not be considered for payment. 8. The tenderer should have up-to-date TIN/SRIN/PAN clearance certificates. 9. The tenderer should have to furnish his performance statement in supply of Library Books etc. in the Performance statement format in Annexure-II (Enclosed). 10. The annual turnover of the tenderer should be more than one Crore last year (Enclose proof). 11. Any other document, if required.

PACKAGE- B Library Automation on Turnkey basis

Job Description a) Asset Tagging. (Generation of code for each book and stock keeping unit) b) Compilation / inflow of all the book / journals in to the library data base software. c) Creation of terminal for the students & Librarian (Computer will be provided by the institute). d) Hands on Training for the Institute on the library management. e) Providing Library management software, Barcode printer (Reputed Brand) & Barcode scanner. f) Generating complete book database. g) Spare printer, Barcode scanner, Barcode Roll, Barcode ribbon.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. The total cost of the work on turnkey basis may be quoted.

2. The party has to provide warranty on the hardware &soft ware at least 1(One) year from the date of completion of the work.

3. The firm has to provide AMC on both hardware & soft ware after expiry of the warranty period. The cost of AMC should be stated for comparison.

4. Period of completion of work to be mentioned. Beyond the due date 1% of the quoted price will be deducted from the tendered price for each 7 days delay in completing the work.

5. Any other charges not mentioned in the offer will not be considered for payment. 6. The tenderer should have up-to-date VAT/IT clearance certificates. 7. The tenderer should furnish his performance statement in Annexure-II (Enclosed). 8. Any other document, if required.
