WITH ONLY TWO YEARS OF RACING UNDER HER BELT, TAYLOR HAS AMASSED THREE WINS, FIVE PODIUMS AND ROOKIE OF THE YEAR HONORS. THIS EMERGING TALENT IS READY TO MAKE HER NEXT MOVE ON THE RACING CIRCUIT.

TAYLOR HAGLER IS OFF TO A FAST START.

“In 20 years of working with NASA in many different capacities I’ve not seen many young drivers progress as fast as Taylor Hagler has in her first seasons of racing. The ones that are special to watch are the ones that are more than just a natural talent and Taylor is just that.”

- Will Faules, NASA Texas Regional Director

Taylor has been asked to join the Honda Racing HPD Driver Development Institute for the 2020 racing season. The Honda Racing HPD Driver Development Institute is a program where up and coming talents in motorsports gain experience in a manufacturer supported driver development program. The Institute will provide guidance and training in the areas of marketing, fitness, brand development, engineering, feedback, and on track performance. As part of Taylor’s 2020 program, she will co-drive with and be mentored by professional Honda Racing HPD driver Ryan Eversley. Taylor will be given the opportunity to test the Acura NSX GT3 EVO to further her development alongside her TCR commitments.

From equestrian show jumper to racecar driver, Taylor Hagler traded the horse for horsepower as a new career in motorsports beckoned in 2018. Born from shared love of sports car racing along with her father, Taylor’s sporting transition was rewarded with Rookie of the Year honors by the NASA Texas region in her first year of racing. She continued to impress in her debut year, and collected her first race win in the American Road Race of Champions at Road Atlanta.

These strong performances caught the eye of X-Factor Racing team owner Chris Haldeman who expressed interest in having Taylor join his team to race in the SRO TC America Series behind the wheel of the potent Honda Civic SI. In her March 2019 series debut, Taylor impressed with her first podium finish in front of family, friends and home crowd at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. By the end of the 2019 SRO TC America season, Taylor finished in fifth overall out of 20 drivers, scoring a pole position and additional podium finish.

Taylor has established herself in the paddock as a growing talent that is known for taking care of her equipment and taking calculated risks like a seasoned professional.

Off the race track, Taylor is a college graduate holding her BBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and she intends to complete her MBA while progressing her professional racing career.

“I was able to watch Taylor race this season in the SRO America TC class and was impressed that she was able to be on the podium in her first season of professional racing. Taylor’s

skills behind the wheel combined with her professional and fun attitude outside of the car will take her far in this sport and its no surprise Honda is recognizing that as well.”

- Ryan Eversley , Honda Racing HPD Factory Driver
