Global media brand employs ‘Off the Record’ to uncover
insight from stakeholders to maximise revenue

Global media brand XXXX was seeking industry information in order to review stakeholder perceptions on the existing product range. The objective was to identify the key levers that could be pulled to increase revenue.
In this challenging economic climate media spend has never been under more scrutiny. XXXX was seeking to understand how its brand, product and client service compared to key competitors within the EMEA region – with focus on xxxxxx, xxx, xxx xxxxxx and x. xxxxx.
XXXX used Off the Record to speak to key external stakeholders across the three key sectors of advertising agencies, affiliate buyers and platform
operators to ascertain their views and comments on a range of issues. Brand Driver was able to match internal commercial expertise to each of the areas to ensure deeper investigations.
A list of key contacts were supplemented using the Power Panel (Brand Driver’s database of key players in the media and entertainment world) to ensure we gathered the best insight in the market.
Off the Record was able to focus in on the key issues and provide clear recommendations across the business to stimulate improved performance and team work and enhance revenues. The findings also highlighted how far XXXX needs to develop multi-platform offerings to keep up with the high
demand from global advertising agencies. It also made strategic recommendations service, products and marketing.
Following these successful investigations Off the Record is exploring new markets for the next stage of the project.
