PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

It is my first visit to a combined meeting with a Rotaract Club. I am very impressed by their set up and presentation, from their Order of Meeting to their programs. Although, I am naïve about Rotaract Clubs, I tend to think that this is the best Rotaract Club in the district and am in total agreement with AG Michael Irving. We had a great meal and definitely a real fun time attending the meeting. I am confident to place the future of Rotary in these young and upcoming Rotaracts. Next week is combined vocational meeting at the Gold Coast Marina and I look forward to seeing all of you there

Thoughts for the week A guy calls the hospital and says,”You have to help me. My wife is going into labor!” The nurse says,”Calm down. Is this her first child?” Exasperated he replies,”No! This is her bloody husband!” An angry husband walks into a bar with a revolver in his hand and says,”I am going to shoot every bastard who slept with my wife.” The barman gave him a scornful glance and said,”Buddy, you would never have enough ammunition.” I was walking down the street with my wife earlier when she accused me of being ashamed to be seen with her. “That’s total rubbish,” I texted from across the road. The piglet got sunburnt and said,”I’m bacon.” “You will need oinkment on that,” said his dad , who was an old boar. Why did the scientist put a knocker on his door? He wanted to win the no bell prize. What would we have if everyone in Australia drove a pink car? A pink car-nation. We married in secret. Even my husband did not know until he sobered up. “Why are you not eating your fish,” asked the waiter. “ Long time no sea,” replied the diner.
