This comprehensive system utilizes aerosol technology to eliminate mixing paint, waiting on a painter, tying up the paint booth, and cleaning spray guns. SEM’s ORS enables technicians to refinish these jobs directly on the shop floor, reducing cycle time to increase throughput. Use Ez Coat™ to match OEM e-coat, Factory Pack™ to match OEM basecoats, and 1K HS Clear or 1K HS Semi-Gloss Clear to finish the job.

Because of its size, a radiator support will flash as you are finishing the part. For smaller parts, be sure to allow adequate flash time.

INNER PANEL REFINISHINGSTANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE

Choose 1K HS Clear or 1K HS Semi-Gloss Clear. Apply 1 coat until covered. Allow 30 – 60 minutes before assembly or installation.

Clean with SEM Solve or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner. Wipe clean in one direction with dry, lint-free cloth. Scuff with P320 grit or gray scuff pad. Blow off and wipe with tack rag if needed.

Choose appropriate Ez Coat color. Apply 1 coat until hiding. Flash time achieved while moving across larger parts.

Smaller parts may require 1 – 2 minutes to properly flash.
