Even if you’re not a fan of comic books and manga, you’ll have heard of Comic Con. It started out in 1970 in San Diego as the Golden State Comic Book Convention, and the original event now attracts more than 130,000 visitors annually. Holding a sister event in the home of manga was long overdue and Tokyo Comic Con finally came in 2016 attracting about 50,000 visitors. Advance general admission tickets are ¥3,200 for adults and ¥2,200 for students (see the official website for details. https://tokyocomiccon.jp/en/ticket). At-the-door admission is ¥300 more expensive.

YMS AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY BUS
The Middle School After-school Activity Bus to Ikego returns to service. The bus will start running on Wed, Nov 13. It will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and go directly from YMS to Ikego. Students must be participating in a YMS afterschool activity, which includes academic support, in order to ride the bus.
