Introducing Senior Coordinator:

Kailyn McMahon!

Hello! My Name is Kailyn McMahon, most people

call me “Kay”. I’m a jack of all trades, a displaced

“Yooper” from the Upper peninsula and now, the

new Senior Coordinator for the City of Wixom!

I hail from the Keweenaw in the U.P and graduated

in 2015 from Michigan Technological University

with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial

Organizational Psychology and a focus in Business

Management. While attending MTU, I had the

privilege of working at The Bluffs Elderly Home for

5 years, where I took an invaluable skillset and

compassion for the Senior Community at large.

I reside in Walled Lake with Scott and our 4 year old

daughter, Autumn. Now that Autumn is school aged,

I am very excited to make my return to the work

force. I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to

contribute my share towards the progress and

fellowship of the senior community in the City of

Wixom!
