How the story starts…
I was sick – sick unto death with that long agony; and when they at length unbound me, and I was permitted to sit, I felt that my senses were leaving me. The sentence – the dread sentence of death – was the last distinct accentuation which reached my ears.
• It is impossible to say how the idea first entered my mind. But, I decided to slowly creep through the forest- with the dead body. Of course, the officers pass me by on the old pathway. Smiling politely, I welcomed the officers.

A Halloween JokeA man was walking home alone late one foggy night, when behind him he hears:

Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging its way down the middle of the street toward him.
