Britain’s Most Visited Newspaper Website

30.4 millionThe MailOnline remained Britain’s most visited newspaper website in October with 30,441,081 million unique global visitors. That is a 44% increase year on year, and 1% month on month.

It attracted an average of 1,790,235 visitors every day, up 51% compared with Oct 08. This is compared to 1,709, 108 for the Guardian and 1,517,010 for the Telegraph.

UK ReachOctober’s ABCe report shows the MailOnline remains the second most popular newspaper website among British visitors with 11.2 million in the month.

Leading metrics firms Hitwise and Comscore now both measure the MailOnline as the top UK site among British internet users.

In October an average of 785,301 UK residents visited the site EVERY day, and increase of 120% year on year, and 19% month on month.

MailOnline is still the only UK newspaper to publish this figure so competitor comparisons are not possible.
