Congratulations to the team for pulling this one together. The short film “Candy Floss” was screened at London Film Festival in September 2016. The Directors are Harri Kamaanathan, Benedict Tumbull and Iain Simpson, ex Ravensbourne students. They are ambitious, passionate, creative and have a track record in directing successful campaigns with varying levels of budget. The team has a long-term vision and has adopted the right approach to forge their way in the industry by developing a strong network and demonstrating their dedication to making stunning visuals alongside creative storytelling. Current clients include BBC, Universal, Polo, Chevrolet and Coca- Cola. HAUS Pictures has recently been nominated at the BFI an award winning Production Company dedicated to making stunning visuals alongside creative storytelling. HAUS Pictures make films, commercials, music videos, digital content and live event coverage. The company has a small roster of Directors having had work screened all over the world picking up critical acclaim. HAUS Pictures also recently produced “Edmund The Magnificent" which was funded by Creative England through the BFI NETWORK in September 2016. Well done!!! Samantha Kingston fell into the video games industry by accident - but her rise has been meteoric, that is what the BBC news stated on 19 /09/2016. Samantha also won an Award for “New Business Award 2016” at the Southampton Venus Awards in April 2016. 'Learned by ourselves'Samantha set Virtual Umbrella in March 2015 with her friend and business partner Bertie Millis. The directors have the right mix of skills set and are passionate to grow the business, Virtual Umbrella specialises in games for virtual reality (VR) headsets in which the player enters a simulated environment. Incubation and Alumni Collaboration THE ODD COUPLE Joe Mercer- Holland director of "ODD, in collaboration with another member of the Incubation community: Director of Photography 'Theo Clarke', will be travelling out to Morocco to commence shooting of its debut short film "Westing" this November, currently in pre production. The film follows a young girl named Tu, travelling with her ageing partner through the mountains of morocco. Tu, in debt to her lover must guide him to his place of death." The Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund is the largest fund in the UK dedicated to supporting film-specific training.
