Research has proven that laughter is the best medicine!* *Time magazine and The Mayo Clinic Be ready to laugh at our October 12th luncheon, featuring award-winning comedian, Dennis Blair. Dennis is an accomplished screenwriter, award-winning songwriter and comedic actor. He is probably best known for the caustic observations and musical satires of his live comedy performances. Dennis has worked with George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers and Jackie Mason, only to name a few. Meanwhile, he continues to headline in comedy clubs and at corporate events and open for major celebrities, co-wrote the movie Easy Money and has also appeared on The Tonight Show. From music to comedy and now back to music. Dennis loves doing both, and sees no need to choose one or the other. Although he has enjoyed much success as a comedian specializing in song parodies as an opening act and a headliner in comedy clubs, hotel/casinos and on cruise ships, Dennis has always said that his goal is “to become a famous musician and open for myself as a comedian, just to hear the audience heckle, ‘Get off the stage! We want YOU!’” IN THIS ISSUE October Charity, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation; Charity Wish List page 2 Future Events; Special Raffles Reminder; New Member Welcome; Remembering Friends & Family; Luncheon Menu; Luncheon Reminder page 3 Charity Wish List (cont.); Board Contact Information page 4 The Chatter October 2019 Luncheon Information Our October luncheon is being held in the Ballroom of the Anthem Center on Thursday, October 10 th .
