PARADE OF NATIONSThe Parade of Nations is our signature moment and is worth getting up early for. Show off your costumes and admire everyone else’s. The parade of nations will be Saturday morning at 8:20am at Frisbee Central (before costumes get destroyed). It will last approximately 30 min so get there dressed and ready to put on a good show. Bring your walk in music cued up on a device with a headphone jack. We will have signs with your team’s name to hold during your procession, and a photographer to capture the moment. Come prepared to cheer, heckle, and flaunt what you got!

FOOD DEALSPapa John’s Pizza — We have a 30% discount for the whole weekend at papajohns.com using the promo code “hanfordhowl” or call 509-943-2020. You can have them deliver directly to Frisbee Central, to your field (they have our field map), or to your room at the Red Lion.

HEALTH & SAFETYWe will have a professional medic on-site all weekend. In the event of an injury or illness requiring medical attention, send runners to Frisbee Central to alert the medic. The nearest hospital is Kadlec Regional Medical Center (3.4 miles south on George Washington Way, then turn right on Swift Blvd).

TOURNAMENT SETUP & RULES Teams, Pools, and Brackets 36 teams are placed into nine pools organized into three tiers. Each team will have three pool games, one crossover game, and one BYE on Saturday.

Rounds The rounds will be 85 minutes long with 15 minute breaks. There is less daylight in the fall, so begin your games on time and listen for the HARD CAP.

The Games & Fields Games are played to 13 on both Saturday and Sunday, win by two. Mirror halves. One timeout per half, plus a floater. We’ll be using 11th Edition Rules with Callahan defensive goals and a 20 yard brick. All fields will be 70 x 40 yards with 20 yard end zones.

Gender Ratio Gender mix is four-three. The team at the gender-selection end zone calls the ratio. This will be the North, West, or Northwest end zone, depending on field orientation.

IMPORTANT TIMES

As we are on school district property, and in a public space, there are rules which must be followed. We have previously had some trouble with garbage. All garbage and recycling (mixed paper, cans, bottles, plastic) must come back to Frisbee Central. We will have receptacles for you at the fields. You can leave full bags by the satellite water tables.

To help us secure the fields for future tournaments:

GAME HORNS

1 Blast START of the round.

2 Blasts HARD CAP. Finish the point and the game is over; unless tied, then play one more point.

Saturday has 9 pools set up for competitive games for all teams based on your self-ranking.

You will play the other three teams in your pool and one crossover game. The crossover game result will only be used to inform seeding between pools; it will not be used to determine rankings within a pool.

A summary of your field assignments-by-round is shown after your team name on the schedule.

Sunday bracket play has three divisions, with Saturday pool winners being promoted up a bracket, and pool losers being relegated down a bracket.

Everyone is guaranteed a minimum of two games on Sunday. Top four seeds in each bracket have a first-round BYE. Brackets will be posted at the party, posted on Facebook, and e-mailed to captains.

We will supply score sheets at the Captains’ Meeting.NO DRUGS NO NUDITYNO DOGS NO ALCOHOL

HOTEL & SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY INFOThe tournament and party will once again be hosted at the Red Lion Hotel in Richland, six miles south of the fields on the east side of George Washington Way.

There will be drink and food specials, great costumes, and a pro DJ to bring the house down! Costumes are officially optional, but c’mon, it’s Halloween! Wristbands will be available early, so get yours to beat the rush.

If you happen to get cut off, you can still dance; you just have to go get a non-drinker wristband.

Under-21 players are welcome to party all night.
