Fascinating ledger sheet detailing the account and expenses of 'Capt. Peter Dordins’ 'Briggeunteen Cicero’ dated Aug 28, 1766, mentions expenses. An r entry is payment to William Vernon for "Kenion." William and his brother, Samuel, formed one of the most well-known slave-trading partnerships of the triangular trade route between West Africa, the Caribbean and American colonies, and Europe.
