RESEARCH EXPERIENCE I. 111Indium-antimyosin Imaging of heart for the Detection of Myocardial Necrosis: 1) Participated in the multicenter international clinical trial of Indium-111 labeled antimyosin antibody imaging for the detection of acute myocardial infarction. 2) Delayed cardiac imaging with 111In-antimyosin in patients following acute myocardial infarction to define the time window for observing positive localization of this agent in the infarcted myocardium. 3) 111In-antimyosin imaging and equilibrium radionuclide angiography in patients with AIDS to detect the cardiac involvement. 4) 111In-antimyosin imaging in patients with suspected Adriamycin cardiotoxicity to investigate the mechanism of anthracycline-cardiotoxicity in human heart. II. Ambulatory Monitoring of Left Ventricular Function 1) Detection of spontaneously occurring silent left ventricular dysfunction in patients with non-Q wave myocardial infarction and unstable angina. 2) Detection of silent left ventricular dysfunction in response to mental stress in patients with coronary artery disease. 3) Clinical validation of a new portable on-line left ventricular function monitoring device. 4) Effect of myocardial revascularization on mental stress induced left ventricular dysfunction in patients with coronary artery disease.
