O'Couture heavenly dreams: Elie Saab

There's one word that describes Elie Saab's collections- elegant. He never fails to

amaze fashion-lovers with her glamorous designs and masterpieces. Spring/Summer '13 collection represents his newest innovations and her immaculate combinations of femininity, detail and timelessness. We saw the runway filled with fresh floral prints, neutral and bold, sophisticated colours, matched together; creating a sea of turquoise, rose and shades of white

   

Saab's signature style of flowing materials as well as lace,

decorative details put together with perfectly cut dresses and suits,

were visible in this season's impressive show.  He always brings

something new and fresh to each collection; inspired by Hollywood

glamour and the ultimate 'chic woman'. Saab certainly knows his art

and sticks by his trend; knowing that they won't ever date or fail to

impress. Also, his collection brings out womanly curves with the

high-waisted belts that many of his pieces possess. With stripes making

a comeback this season, Saab portrayed these in his collection too; especially in his

black& white pieces, which are the hit colours of this season. Overall, you could call

it Great Gatsby meets the modern working woman.
