Mechanics. Veh cle must co i t of a single-size bed fitted with standard bedsprings mounted on three or four wheels. Bedclothes and decorations are encouraged. DEAN KOTTMAN TRAVELING TO CHINA Dean Kottman, Bob Evans and other Ohioans with agricultural backgrounds will join with similar individuals from New York, California and Penn- sylvania on a "People to People" goodwill tour of the Peoples Republic of China. Thirty-six people, in all, will depart on October 13 for three days in Hong Kong, three days in Japan and 13 days in China. They will be visiting communes, government agencies and agricultural centers in Hubei, Kweilin, Nanning and Peking. In Hubei province they will travel to the capital, Wuhan. That province is the one with which Governor Rhodes has developed working trade relations. Hubei had an exhibit at this year's Ohio State Fair. The Chinese should welcome the Dean's expertise in agriculture since it currently takes 80% of their population to feed the nation.

Mark Duncan will be teaching biology. Hehas taug t two years at Dalton High School,is seriously considering graduate school andhas a brother, Leroy, who is a 1974 grad. ofATI in Horse Production.

Elizabeth Smith will also be instructing inbiology. She holds a Ph.D. in Zoology fromthe University of Missouri and has been anAssociate Professor at a branch of Penn. Stateand westminster College.

Steve Gilson, who will be teaching math, holdsa B.A. in Business, was formerly the managerof Nichols and has now decided to move intoteaching.

Steve Perunka owns a farm, hasEnglish and is a Horse Production studenthere. He will be manning the Guided StudiesLab.

Jeane Szarka is returning to ATI but in anew capacity ... staffing the Math Lab andteaching one course.

Brenda Carr comes to ATI from the state ofMassachusetts where she taught Vo-Ag. Shehas a Ph.D. from the U. of Mo. in Ag. Educationwith a minor in Ag. Engineering.

Jane Faulkner moves into Bev Fischer's position,Previously she was coordinator of the HorseCamp program at Camp Y-Noah and a laboratorytechnician at the University of Akron.

Mark Altier, a Wooster attorney, will teachBusiness Law.

Ruth Detweiler is an instructor assisting in the Design Lab. She is from Kidron.

Rick Roland, new lecturer in arboriculture, is an ATI Landscape grad. and has a B.S. from OSU.

Claudia Swager, retail flower shop lecturer, became Mrs. Schuch with her marriage in August.

Ralph Prall, who continues to teach Business Marketlng, has received his Ph.D. in tech~icaeducation from the University of Akron.
