ConservatoryOcean Designs began life in 2006, specialising in woven

conservatory furniture. We worked with leading furniture

designers to create interesting, modern and super comfy

conservatory suites, many of which are so perfect, they’re still

available today!

After a while we decided it was time to extend our repertoire

and move into the garden. We achieved this by using a

synthetic rattan and a powder coated aluminium frame to

fashion our luxurious All Weather Furniture, which is fade, frost,

rust and mildew resistant ensuring your furniture looks as good

as new for many years to come.

All cushions and upholstery are handmade by our talented

manufacturing team in our Nottingham factory. Our wonderful

production staff all have an upholstery background and it

seemed rather silly that we weren’t using them to their full

potential. So then came our Bespoke Upholstery Service. We

have designed our own ranges of upholstery, which is ever-

growing, but we can also take your ideas and turn them into

reality, using our expert knowledge and your imagination, we

can create a suite that will be bespoke to you and you alone.

Ocean Designs offer beautifully hand crafted woven

furniture using only the highest grade natural materials,

including rattan, banana leaf, kubu and water hyacinth,

selected not only for their beauty, but also their intrinsic

durability.

Look below the surface of a piece of Ocean furniture and

you will find solid wood frames with screwed and glued

construction for a truly hard-wearing product.

We feel that good looks alone is not enough, we design

for comfort. Our designers have gone to great lengths to

create real comfort, using correct dimensions and angles

coupled with the best upholstery techniques and fillings.

We offer the widest selection of fabric options and all our

cushions are made in house, to customer requirement,

with all fabrics fully patterned matched.

The level of comfort is what sets our product above others

and ensures you experience true relaxation, long-term.

Ocean Designs Upholstery is beautifully made in Britain

by our own highly skilled fabric cutters, machinists &

upholsterers. Using the highest quality foams, interiors

and fabrics upholstered around solid beech frames with

screwed, glued and dowel construction which come with

a 10 year guarantee. Our sofas and chairs are truly long

lasting.

furniture is made to order, in house, we can offer a fully

bespoke service.

RomaA generous sized 3 seater sofa makes up the

Roma suite. Beautifully hand woven in a rounded,

white washed brown all weather rattan. A glass

topped coffee table completes the look.

You’ll never be short of a recliner with the

Portofino collection, they are everywhere.

The corner group reclines at each end, as

does the 3 seater sofa and all the chairs

are recliners. The higher back gives you

head support for extra comfort. Enjoy dining

together in comfort with the dining table

which accompanies the corner group.

does the 3 seater sofa and all the chairs

are recliners. The higher back gives you

The Environment

We are keen to support the environment we live in and

as such, all Ocean Designs products use materials from

either renewable, recyclable or sustainable resources. In

case you didn’t know, the rattan vine is one of the truly

renewable rainforest materials, when rattan is harvested it

re-grows naturally. In short, rattan is truly self-regenerating.

All timber we use is harvested from managed forests, using

FSC certified and Indonesian Legal Wood. Our factories are

independently audited (and personally visited by ourselves)

to ensure continued high quality is maintained and good

working practices adhered to.

Guarantees

All Ocean Designs furniture is backed up with strong

guarantees against manufacturing fault.

Conservatory Furniture has minimum 2 year guarantee on

both the woven frames and upholstery.

All Weather Furniture has a 3 year guarantee on the frame

and a 12 month guarantee for the cushioning.

Lounge Upholstery has a 10 year frame guarantee.
