Objectives

• To provide basic skills for Standard One pupils in national and vernacular schools

• To make sure the pupils master reading and writing skills

• Help pupils that have problem in writing and reading

• No pupils went through primary school without being able to read and write

• Pupils being able to write and read when they enter secondary school

• Identify those students who are actually handicapped in reading and writing, a disability better known as dyslexia

• ensure that they are sent to special schools to deal with such disability.
