    Drama in Real Life

    You should be ready with your skit 3 days in advance in case the class is advanced.

    If any team member is absent, the others should go ahead, and that team memberwill get no marks.

    Your Task

    1. The group has to prepare a script & enact a real life situation

    demonstrating the concept taught

    2. The background should be an organisation preferably a business

    organisation. You may take inputs from people with work experience.

    3. Some relationship between the concept under study and individual /

    team / organisation performance should be evident

    4. You do not have to prepare any slides. However someone in the group

    may give a brief commentary, so the audience can understand

    5. The maximum time available for enactment is 7 minutes

    Assessment Criteria:

    1. How effectively the concept was demonstrated. Was it realistic? Was

    some attempt made to correlate it to real life, or was it too artificial?

    Were different situations explored?

    2. How well enacted did the audience like it? Were team members well

    prepared?

    Introduction Video ( Groups of 10 according to Roll Number)

    Due on September 12th and for Screening in class on Sept 14

    1. Each team will present a video recording running time minimum time

    12 minutes - maximum 20 minutes.

    2. As a team member you to introduce herself / himself in such a way that

    a. Basic information name, qualifications, work experience,

    relevant personal information (less important)

    b. Your Individual personality gets showcased so we know who

    you truly are your strengths, weaknesses, achilles heel,

    aspirations, temperatment.

    3. In the next class, when we discuss personality we will first view the

    video and then have our lecture.

    4. Please load the video on the desktop in the class, before the class

    starts.

    5. Marks will be for group performance there will no individual marks

    assigned

    Experiential Games Exercises

    Time allotted per group to conduct activity in class (from start

    to finish) 30 minutes

    Each group of ten will design and demonstrate (on other

    members of the class) a game from which an individual or

    team can learn about his/their:

    o Behaviour / patterns of behaviour behaviours that

    enhance or retard performance / effectiveness or

    individual /team in different situations

    o Prerequisites for effectiveness in different situations

    o Perhaps perceptions, motives, etc

    The game should be decent and safe to be conducted by

    people who are not trained professionals. If you have any

    doubt, talk to the instructor

    3 marks will be allotted for design of originial game

    Please prepare a write up on your game as well as instructions

    for use

    Please conduct the game, using the following format:

    o Introduction for observers

    o Briefing participants

    o Conducting the game

    o Debriefing, discussion and analysis
