BLUFFMASTER

This game show exposes the ability of the players to cheat, lie and deceive in order to win lucrative prizes.

Before the game:

Answers to about 30 general questions would be obtained, completely based on a survey.

For a give question, the answers would be ranked based on how rare they are. The most common response will carry the least weightage and the rarest answer will have the highest weightage of points.

The Game:

The game would have n (n to be decided later) contestants in which n-1 would be honest and one will be pre-designated as a Bluff Master. Nobody

Page 25: Oasis

24

else, including the host, will know who the Bluff Master is.

For each question, the players must come up with one of the r (r, around 10) most popular responses for that question.

The Bluff Master can secretly see all the answers to the questions on the game show, thereby getting a huge edge over all other participants, without making any of the other players suspicious.

The contestants will vote every few rounds. If the Bluffmaster gets exposed by the voting, he will be out of the game and a new contestant will be made the Bluffmaster randomly. Otherwise, the Bluffmaster will vote out an honest player.

The process will continue till only two contestants are left.

In the last round, the audiences will be allowed to participate by voting for the person who they think is the bluff master (amongst the last 2 players).

If the polling fails to spot the Bluff Master, he/she will take home the entire prize. If not, then the last honest player will get the prize.

Apart from the winner, few of the top contestants voted out will be given prizes, directly related to their points obtained.

Team Limit: Maximum 2 members per team.
