The CARQUEST Logo: Proper Presentation

CORRECT USES OF THE CARQUEST LOGO

Multi-Color:

Single Color:

A. Standard 2 Color on Light Background

When using a white or very light color background, the CARQUEST logo must always be presented in 2 colors, Solid RED (PMS 186) and Solid BLUE (PMS REFLEX).

“AUTO PARTS” and ® in Solid BLUE (PMS REFLEX).

No other combination of colors is acceptable.

A. Standard 1 Color on Light Background

B. Standard 2 Color on Dark Background

Important: A white trap must be used around and behind the logo. The words “AUTO PARTS” and ® must appear in white.

NOTE: The white trap is NOT an outline nor is it to be considered part of the logo. It is simply to give separation from the logo and the background color.

No other combination of colors is acceptable.

When using the CARQUEST logo as a reverse, CARQUEST and the Shield must be presented in 1 color, Solid BLUE (PMS REFLEX) or Solid Black while using the white trap around and behind the logo.

The words “AUTO PARTS” and ® must simply reverse out of the background color.

The CARQUEST logo is a registered trademark of the CARQUEST Corporation. It should be presented with pride each time it is used. Below are some guidelines to use when printing the CARQUEST logo in any advertisement, announcement, form, stationery, or other use.

Originally named Credit Connection, the Okeleys, along with two other employees, committed to one mission. That mission was, and still is, to provide affordable, dependable vehicles to people that had difficulty getting the transportation and the credit approval they needed, while treating all customers with respect. We expanded to Muncie, IN in 1987 with the acquisition of Irish Mike’s, another “Buy Here Pay Here” dealership.

We adopted the “Oak Motors” name in 1990 to represent the Okeley family name and the pride we have in the way we service our customers. Oak Motors was awarded the “Quality Dealer of the Year” for the state of Indiana in 1991 by the Indiana Independent Auto Dealers Association.

As our reputation grew, so did our business. We opened the first Indianapolis Oak Motors location on West 38th Street in 2004; a second Indianapolis location on Shadeland Avenue in 2007; and a third Indianapolis location on North Keystone Avenue in 2008. In the beginning of 2012, the Keystone location was moved to South East Street to expand our service capacity with a larger facility.

Our commitment to quality and customer service not only grew our business, but earned Oak Motors the “National Buy Here Pay Here Dealer of the Year” Award by Leedom and Associates at the 2005 National Auto Dealers Conference.

Today Oak Motors and our more than 150 employees strive to uphold the tradition and intimacy of a family business, while providing Central Indiana residents the convenience, affordability, dependability and value that has kept Oak Motors growing for the last 25 years.

1 MEET THE TEAM.

We will introduce you to Oak Motors and our team while getting to know you and your situation, everyone is just a little different. We will need to understand your circumstances and needs, in order to assist you in buying the right vehicle and to arrange financing. The Oak Motors introduction and investigative process includes asking you normal loan application questions, which will take anywhere from 20-30 minutes.

2 VEHICLE & FINANCING DISCOVERY.

Select the vehicle that interests you the most. Once you have selected a vehicle, we will review with you the price, down payment, payment and any trade in value. After you have decided on a vehicle that meets your needs and your budget, you should drive it to make sure that you like the way it drives and handles and that it is all that you thought it would be.

3 DELIVERING THE VEHICLE.

When you get back from the test drive, we will complete the process by collecting all the required loan documents and preparing the closing documents for delivery.

Be on the road again in hours.Depending on how much time you need during the vehicle selection process, document collection, and closing, the other steps for financing approval take just over an hour. Our fast and easy approval process allows you to take time where it matters most - making the right decision and understanding what you should expect from us and us from you. The total process takes the typical customer between two and four hours to be on the road again.

POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. Oak Motors includes an 18 month/18,000 mile powertrain warranty with every regular vehicle purchase, excluding economy line purchases.

PREFERRED CUSTOMER SERVICE WARRANTY. Oak Motors includes a 3 month/3,000 mile preferred customer service warranty with every regular vehicle purchase, excluding economy line purchases.

PREFERRED CUSTOMER SERVICE PROGRAM. We offer a preferred customer service program that includes all non warranty repairs to be performed at a discounted labor rate. Additionally, we offer competitively discounted prices for the parts needed to make those repairs. We also provide published menu pricing for minor maintenance repairs. The term of this preferred customer service program is for as long as you are a customer of Oak Motors and Indiana Finance Company in good standing.

CONVENIENT SERVICE. Each Oak Motors location has a full service facility and waiting area except the Muncie location, which is serviced by the Anderson service facility. Muncie does however have service facilities for oil changes and light maintenance. Service can be obtained at any service location, regardless of which Oak Motors location you took delivery from.

SUPERIOR FACILITIES. Each sales/service facility is a previous new car dealership: 38th St was a Hyundai dealership, Shadeland was a Mitsubishi dealership, South East Street was a Ford dealership, and Anderson was a Pontiac dealership. The Muncie location was newly constructed by Oak Motors to better serve you.

TRAINED & CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS. Oak Motors has factory trained and ASE certified technicians that perform our extensive pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and reconditioning process. This highly trained staff is also your resource for any warranty or maintenance repairs you may need.

PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI). Oak Motors completes an extensive inspection of all working and non working mechanical components and features. We repair items related to safety and dependability. Cosmetic or accessory items may not be repaired if deemed not to add significant value verses cost of repair. The vehicle is priced and sold accordingly. COURTESY TRANSPORTATION. Oak Motors provides a courtesy transportation program which includes a ride to home or work and possibly even a loaner vehicle, if the repair involves a warranty covered part. Loaner vehicles are subject to availability and scheduling and the repair must be a minimum of eight labor hours. Ask us for additional details.

WARRANTY ON REPAIRS. Oak Motors offers a repair warranty on any repair performed in our service facility. We also perform a multi-point inspection at no charge for you to help quantify and anticipate any upcoming maintenance. Ask for additional details.

WARRANTY BENEFITS FOR COVERED REPAIRS & THE COSTS YOU WON’T HAVE TO PAY

COURTESY TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMOak Motors will attempt to provide a ride to work or home:

• If the repairs will take more than two hours to complete.• If the trip is a 30 minute one way drive or less from the dealership.• If the need is between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.• If there is a conflict with availability or scheduling, warranty repair customers will take priority over all preferred customer

service repair customers.

Oak Motors will attempt to provide a loaner to use:

• If the warranty repair requires eight labor hours or more to complete. Generally, these will be powertrain repairs such as the replacement of the engine, transmission or drive axle.

• If there is a loaner vehicle available.• If the customer can produce a valid driver’s license to be photo copied and Oak Motors can verify, via fax, that the customer

has valid insurance in place on the vehicle in service prior to receiving the loaner.• If the customer understands he/she is the only authorized driver of the loaner.• If the customer is 21 years of age or older.• If the customer understands that they are fully responsible for the condition of the loaner while in their possession, including

maintaining the relative level of cleanliness and returning the vehicle with the same level of gas as it was received. If not, then the customer agrees to satisfy the charges to return the vehicle back into the received condition just as any other rental company would expect or be pursued legally and the customer will be excluded from future use of the loaner program.

Oak Motors loaners are reserved for warranty repairs and specifically powertrain warranty repairs. The replacement of the engine, transmission or the drive axle can take up to 7 to 10 days depending on parts availability, shipping, installation and quality control. Oak Motors understands the lack of transportation for that period of time is difficult and that all of our customers may not have access to alternative transportation or be able to rent a vehicle for a variety of reasons and that is the reason we offer a loaner program.
