Warren Wiegratz sax / flute / keyboards
Streetlife’s leader and featured artist, Warren Wiegratz has received the prestigious
Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award (WAMI) for Reed/Brass Instrumentalist of the Year an unprecedented eleven times. He is a highly sought-after saxophone and Jazz clinician, who performs and instructs in high schools and colleges throughout the Midwest. He has been featured in articles in the Saxophone Journal, The Leblanc Bell, and the Roland Users Group magazines. Warren’s solo version of The Star Spangled Banner has received national critical acclaim and has led him to perform it at sporting events across the country.
Warren recorded four highly successful albums with the internationally acclaimed Jazz/Fusion group Sweetbottom. He later formed the popular contemporary Jazz group Oceans that recorded two nationally-released albums, and performed on NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, ESPN’s Special Report, CBS Sports, and at major Jazz festivals across the United States.
Besides his performing and recording credits, Warren has scored two motion pictures, Dreamweaver and Lady Mary. His composition Felicia is featured on the soundtrack to the major motion picture I Love You to Death. Warren has written music extensively for commercials and audio/visual projects that have been honored with several first-place awards, National Ad Club Addys among them. He composed, arranged, and performed two works, A Gift So Rare and Ponteo, with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He was commissioned to write and perform an original work for saxophone and orchestra with the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra.
Warren has performed and recorded with countless renowned national and international artists, including
Phil Collins, George Duke, Al Dimeola, Lenny White, The Temptations, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Supremes, Steve Smith, Jaco Pastorius, Wayman Tisdale, Andy Kim, Lyle Mays, William Elwood, Spencer Brewer, Chris Spheeris, Michael Jones, and Sigmund Snopek. In addition to playing with Streetlife, Warren is resident composer/arranger for Milwaukee’s newest state-of-the-art recording facility, BeatHouse Music. He is the Lead Alto Saxophonist and musical arranger for The All-Star-Super Band, a new rehearsal Big Band Jazz Ensemble featuring many of Southeastern Wisconsin’s finest musicians.
Ryan Schiedermayer drums / percussion
As Streetlife’s co-leader, Ryan Schiedermayer masters rhythmic
nuances to create a soulful, dynamic sound. Ryan was influenced early in his career by funk artists James Brown and Tower of Power. A highly regarded live performance and session musician, Ryan performs with a raw passion making him adaptable to a variety of musical styles. He is particularly well-versed in Latin, Jazz and R&B music, and has studied Latin/Afro-Rican technique in Puerto Rico with teacher Jesus Cepeda of the internationally famed group Los Hermanos Cepeda.
Ryan’s career highlights include performing with Sam Llanas of the Bodeans and also with Grammy nominees Jeff Lorber (Jeff Lorber Fusion), Jim Peterik (Survivor and Ides of March), and Ignacio Berroa (Dizzy Gillespie’s United Nations Orchestra). Ryan has toured with nationally renowned Paul Cebar and the Milwaukeeans and has opened for several national acts including Arturo Sandoval, Tower of Power, and Spyro Gyra. Ryan has also travelled worldwide for the USO/United States Department of Defense and performed for the United States Armed Forces.

Ryan shares his energy and enthusiasm for music by teaching drum set and Latin percussion to students at Interstate Music Company, and conducts clinics at schools and music stores regionally. Ryan is also a member of the academic staff at UW Milwaukee and works in the Dance and Theatre department as an instructional accompanist.
Ryan’s latest musical endeavor has been his greatest joy. Sentido, Ryan’s first solo album, showcases his rhythmic sensibility and songwriting skills. Co-produced with Streetlife guitarist Peter Mac, Sentido blends contemporary Jazz and R&B with organic percussive elements, creating a fresh and sophisticated sound.
Joe Jordan lead vocalsJoe Jordan is an accomplished soul & R&B singer who displays an astonishing range of
emotion and style, which reflects the true essence of performance. With a diverse background in theater, Joe has a mature song craft that stems from the influences of a diverse group of musical sources such as: Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Frankie Beverly, and Nat King Cole, to name a few. His two solo projects “Can you find your soul” and “Let’s go to that place” have earned him several Wisconsin Area Music Award nominations, including Best Male Vocalist and R&B/Soul Artist.
This is Joe’s thirteenth season as lead vocalist for Streetlife. Joe also has been a part of R&B Live, a national R&B show held in the Milwaukee area.
Joe’s recent accomplishments include shows with Bernie Worrell of “Parliament/Funkadelic”, Louis Johnson of The Brothers Johnson, Bill Dickens Big Jamm Session, back-up vocals for Paul Cebar and Tomorrow’s Sound New CD, and singing back-up vocals for American Idol Danny Gokey. He also opened for several artists
including Anthony Hamilton, David Sanborn, Angie Stone, Elvis Costello and Tower of Power. Joe performed at three Tributes over the past year. A Tribute to Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, and Donny Hathaway.
Peter Mac guitar
Peter Mac began playing guitar at fourteen and has spent the last twenty-five years
developing his craft. A student at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music from 1978-1981, he spent the next two years traveling the US in funk and Jazz-fusion acts. He later formed The Converters, an all-original trio that was popular on college campuses throughout the Midwest. Following that, he recorded his first solo album, Pardon My Monster, and a second solo album that was contracted to record twelve spots for MTV sports commercials. Just before joining Streetlife, he played in his own band, the Peter Mac Trio. While with Streetlife, he released his third solo effort, 3 Faces, a triple dose of guitar stylings, on which he also played all bass and keyboard tracks. Peter is presently at work on his fourth solo project.
An established studio musician and solo artist, Peter has opened for a wide variety of renowned national and international artists, including Kenny Loggins, Dave Koz, Tower of Power, Danny Gatton, Grover Washington, Jr., Jeff Healey, Eddie Money, Kansas, Doc Severinsen, Tim Wiesburg, The O’Jays, and Al Jarreau. He has recorded commercials for Boston Store department store, Kimberly Clark, Midwest Express Airlines, Yamaha Jet Skis, and more than one hundred fifty logos for radio stations throughout the US through Joe Kelly, Inc. Peter teaches over sixty guitar students per week at the Waukesha Conservatory of Music.

Rhonda Begos lead vocals
Throughout Rhonda’s 22-year singing career, one thing has remained the same. No
matter how many times she sings a song that you’ve heard before, it always sounds like you’re hearing it for the first time. Full of soul, spirit, and meaningful expression, Rhonda always “connects” herself with the music she sings, causing any audience to connect with the band.
Rhonda attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, after graduating from high school in Stillwater, Minnesota. Soon after moving to Boston, Rhonda connected with Betty Carter, Joe Williams, Winton, Delfeayo and Branford Marsalis, Roy Hargrove and Layla Hathaway. Rhonda also had the esteemed pleasure of performing with Shirley Ceasar at a Gospel concert and developed a long time musical friendship with popular Grammy-nominated Blues singer, Susan Tedeschi.
Rhonda returned to Milwaukee in 1991 and, within a year, her musical career began. In 1992 she joined the Eddie Butts Band. Since leaving the Eddie Butts Band, Rhonda has performed with many of the area’s finest bands, such as Body Language, Jon Paris, Cold Sweat, Hot Sauce, the North Coast Orchestra, and her own band, Midnight Groove. Rhonda also had the pleasure of singing backup
with Susan Tedeschi on the Conan O’Brian show in December of 2005.
Rhonda currently performs the National Anthem for the Milwaukee Brewers, Bucks, Admirals, Wave, and at other patriotic events throughout Wisconsin. She balances her singing career with her husband Zoy and son Keaton. Rhonda and Zoy own a musical booking agency, Z and R Entertainment, now in its 4th year of operation.
Eric Herveybass
As a live performance and session musician Eric Hervey has recorded, performed or shared
the stage with many notable artists, groups and dignitaries of today. Some of these include Daryl Stuermer (Genesis, Phil Collins), Robert Redford, Katie Holmes, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Alfre Woodard, President Bill Clinton, Kerry Kennedy, Ike Cole (brother of the late Nat King Cole), Eric Benet, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads), Temptations, Doug Cameron (contemporary jazz violinist), Douglas Spotted Eagle, Tracie Peel (Ronnie Milsap), Angie Stone, Hal Leonard Publishing and many more. With over 60 recordings to his credit, his acknowledgments and awards include a 3-year spree of the Wisconsin Area Music Industry award for Bass Instrumentalist (2001-2003). Eric was nominated by WAMI for 2011 Bassist of the Year. This 34 year veteran’s deep bass and smooth grooves are distinctly recognizable.
