SUNDAY, MAY 28, 2017 “AMAZING GRACE, MY CHAINS ARE GONE” Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. (Chorus) My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace. The Lord has promised good to me. His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures. (Chorus) My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace.

“O CHURCH ARISE” O church, arise and put your armor on; Hear the call of Christ our Captain. For now the weak can say that they are strong in the strength that God has given. With shield of faith and belt of truth we'll stand against the devil's lies; An army bold whose battle cry is "Love!" Reaching out to those in darkness. Our call to war, to love the captive soul, but to rage against the captor; And with the sword that makes the wounded whole, we will fight with faith and valor. When faced with trials on ev'ry side, we know the outcome is secure, And Christ will have the prize for which He died— An inheritance of nations. Come, see the cross where love and mercy meet, as the Son of God is stricken; Then see His foes lie crushed beneath His feet, for the Conqueror has risen! And as the stone is rolled away, an angel says He is not here! This vict'ry march continues till the day ev'ry eye and heart shall see Him. So Spirit, come, put strength in ev'ry stride, give grace for ev'ry hurdle, That we may run with faith to win the prize of a servant good and faithful. As saints of old still line the way, retelling triumphs of His grace, We hear their calls and hunger for the day when, with Christ, we stand in glory.

“GREAT ONE IN THREE” Come now, Almighty King, rule and reign over us. Help us Your praise to sing, Father, glorious. Embracing us before all time, You made us heirs with Christ on high. By Your Spirit now we cry, “Abba, Father!” (Chorus) We long for the day, Great One in Three, we finally behold Your majesty. Face to face, we’ll worship and adore forevermore. Speak now, Incarnate Word, of Your relentless love bearing our fatal curse with Your living blood. When guilt and doubt come rushing in, help us see Your cross again. You’re the Rock on which we live, Jesus, Savior. (Chorus) We long for the day, Great One in Three, we finally behold Your majesty. Face to face, we’ll worship and adore forevermore. Come, Holy Comforter, give grace to weary hearts, bring back the wanderer, drive away the dark. You’re the summer of our souls, You’re the fountain of our hope; Our assurance here below, Spirit of the Son. (Chorus) We long for the day, Great One in Three, we finally behold Your majesty. Face to face, we’ll worship and adore forevermore. (Chorus) We long for the day, Great One in Three, we finally behold Your majesty. Face to face, we’ll worship and adore forevermore.

“BY FAITH” By faith we see the hand of God in the light of creation’s grand design; In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness, who walk by faith and not by sight. By faith our fathers roamed the earth with the power of His promise in their hearts of a holy city built by God's own hand; A place where peace and justice reign. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. By faith the prophets saw a day when the longed-for Messiah would appear with the power to break the chains of sin and death and rise triumphant from the grave. By faith the church was called to go in the power of the Spirit to the lost; To deliver captives and to preach good news in every corner of the earth. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. By faith this mountain shall be moved and the power of the gospel shall prevail; For we know in Christ all things are possible for all who call upon His name. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. We'll walk by faith and not by sight. We'll walk by faith and not by sight.

CHOIR ANTHEM “Thankful to Be an American” I am thankful to be an American, and to live in the greatest land of all. In a nation blessed with the very best, I will stand with my head up tall. I am thankful to be an American, to be part of a land that’s free! I am thankful to God for allowing me to be an American! The price of freedom never has come easy, yet, free is right, and right must stand the test. And even with her problems to beset us, our nation proudly stands among the best. I am thankful to be an American, to be part of a land that’s free! I am thankful to God for allowing me to be an American! An American! This is my country, land of my birth. This is my country, grandest on earth. I pledge thee my allegiance, America the bold; For this is my country to have and to hold. My country tis’ of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims’ pride; From ev’ry mountainside let freedom ring! O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, For purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed His grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea, from sea to shining sea. God of our fathers, whose almighty hand leads forth in beauty all the starry band of shining worlds in splendor thru the skies, our grateful songs before Thy throne arise. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored, He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword, His truth is marching on. Glory! glory, hallelujah! Glory! glory, hallelujah! Glory! glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on. Glory! glory, hallelujah! Glory! glory, hallelujah! Glory! glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

You’re a grand old flag, you’re a high-flyin’ flag, and forever in peace may you wave. You’re the emblem of the land I love, the home of the free and the brave. Ev’ry heart beats true ‘neath the Red, White and Blue, where there’s never a boast or brag; But should auld acquaintance be forgot, keep your eye on the grand old flag. Hurray for the Red, White and Blue! May it wave as our standard forever, the gem of the land and the sea, the banner of the right. Let evil remember the day when our fathers, with mighty endeavor, proclaimed as they marched to the fray that by their might, and by their right, it waves forever! I am thankful to be an American, and to live in the greatest land of all. In a nation blessed with the very best, I will stand with my head up tall. I am thankful to be an American, to be part of a land that’s free! I am thankful to God for allowing me to be an American, an American! And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free; And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, ‘cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land; God bless the U.S.A. And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free; And I won’t forget the men who died who gave that right to me. And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, ‘cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land; God bless the U.S. A. ‘cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land; God bless the U.S. A. America!

“BLESSED IS THE NATION” Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Their trust is not in the shield or the sword. They turn their eyes to heaven whatever they face, grounded and guarded and guided by grace. Blessed are the lives that are built on God’s Word, those hearts that trust in the truth they have heard, Waiting for wisdom that comes from on high, walking by faith with His Word as their guide. Blessed are the people confessing their sin, humb’ling their hearts and returning to Him. Their prayers will be answered, and they’ll find His hand moving with mercy and healing their land. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; Coming to Him as the tired and the poor, Finding true freedom and riches outpoured. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. INVITATION “BECAUSE HE LIVES” God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus; He came to love, heal, and forgive. He lived and died to buy my pardon; An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives. (Chorus) Because He lives I can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives. And then one day I’ll cross the river, I’ll fight life’s final war with pain; And then as death gives way to victory, I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He lives. (Chorus) Because He lives I can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives. (Chorus) Because He lives I can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.

OFFERTORY “I WILL GLORY IN MY REDEEMER” I will glory in my Redeemer whose priceless blood has ransomed me. Mine was the sin that drove the bitter nails and hung Him on that judgment tree. I will glory in my Redeemer, who crushed the power of sin and death. My only Savior before the holy Judge; The Lamb who is my righteousness The Lamb who is my righteousness I will glory in my Redeemer; My life He bought, my love He owns. I have no longings for another; I’m satisfied in Him alone. I will glory in my Redeemer, His faithfulness, my standing place. Though foes are mighty and rush upon me, My feet are firm, held by His grace My feet are firm, held by His grace I will glory in my Redeemer, who carries me on eagles’ wings. He crowns my life with lovingkindness, His triumph song I’ll ever sing. I will glory in my Redeemer, who waits for me at gates of gold; And when He calls me, it will be paradise. His face forever to behold His face forever to behold His face forever to behold BENEDICTION “BECAUSE HE LIVES” (Chorus) Because He lives I can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.
