Name of work:- "Construction of Earthwork and Structures of PingaliFeeder canal in Km. No. 1 to 11 (Ch.O/OOOto 10/450)Tal. Man Dist. Satara."

The pre Tender conference for the above mentioned work was held inthe chamber of the Chief Engineer (SP),W.R.D.Pune on 01/08/2014 @ 12.00Hours.

Following Six bidders are qualified for this work.

1) MIs. Right Construction, Indapur, Pune2) MIs. Unique Builders, Malewadi-Akluj.3) MIs. Prathamesh construction, Miraj4) MIs. Shelke construction, Pune5) Ashoka Stapatya Pvt.Ud. & Unique Builders (JV.) Akluj6) MIs. Shree Sai construction, Daund, Pune.

Out of above Six bidder partners Ashoka Stapatya Pvt.Ud. & UniqueBuilders (JV.) Akluj & Shri. Sai construction, Daund, Pune attended themeeting. MIs. Ashoka Staptya Pvt.Ud. & Unique Builders, Akluj (JV.)submitted their points in writting.

Points raised by contractor and clarifications there of are as below.

As per POD Sec.1.2 (Method ofapplying) "The tender of JointVenture shall not be received by thecorporation unless the JV.agreement registered with Registrarof firm is submitted to the tenderreceiving authority."

It is clarified that contractorshould submit application forregistration of JV. to the Registrar offirms & produce before the workorder proof of such submission.

2 The lead of hearting for the workis presently considered fromPingali Tank but during theconsecutive summer seasonsmost of the hearting quantityhas been taken away by thepeople from nearby areas. Nowhearting is left in the tank so thelead for the above work shouldbe considered from AndhaliTank.

3 As the work is scattered in alength of 11 kms there ispossibility of a lot of wastage ofmaterial due to transportation &re-handling, so the rate ofconcrete for the above work beincreased by Ten percent.

4 The quantity of concrete ofvarious grades is approx 10000cum so provision Batching Plantbe made for Uniform mixturefrom grades & alsotransportation of Ready MixConcrete (RMC) of variousgrades may be reduce wastage& time.

5 The lead of sand for this work isform Maswad whereas for theworks of agencies SMS Infra,Nagpur, Prasad & Co.Hyderabad, Unique Builders,Akluj have lead from SolapurDistrict (Pandharpur). So thelead of sand for the above workbe taken from Pandharpur,Solapur Dist.

Tender stipulation shall prevail.Contractor should quote accordingly.

6 There are R.C.C. Structures &H.T. lines along the canal line.For these chiseling for rock tobe provided within 30 meterradius.

7 In Price variation clause specialconditions of contracts whilecalculating the cost of workdone dept. is already deductingthe cost of cement, steel etc.completely which is inclusive ofVAT and again deducting thetax of those material separatelyfrom cost of work' done which iscontradictory.
