Draft Community Vision We envision our communiCes with a greater capacity to respond to and recover from future storm events. Our goals are to: 1. Locate emergency and government services in low-‐risk areas, and improve the ability for these services to conCnue operaCng during severe weather. 2. Improve local businesses’ (including stores, agriculture, and industry) ability to recover and restart operaCons as quickly as possible ager a storm event. 3. Protect and reinforce criCcal infrastructure that is not easily relocated. 4. Improve communicaCons between and within municipaliCes to respond more efficiently and effecCvely to a storm event.
