Course DescriptionThe Cisco Nexus family of switches isdesigned for the next-generation virtualizedData Center. The Nexus family introducesseveral key features that will be critical forimplementing next-gen, virtualized, and
cloud computing architectures.
This course covers the entire Nexus productfamily, but focuses on implementingaggregation and core-layer architectureswith the Cisco Nexus 7000.
The goal of this course is to help youunderstand how you can apply these newtechnologies to optimize the scalability, agility, performance, and operationalefficiency of your Data Center.
This course includes hands-on labs in whichyou will configure routed network utilizingVirtual Device Contexts (VDCs) on theNexus 7000.
Who Should AttendThis course provides an introduction to theCisco Nexus product portfolio, with anemphasis on the Nexus 7000, for DataCenter network architects.
Recommended Prerequisites
You will gain the most from this seminar ifyou have at least CCNA-level knowledge ofrouting and switching.
