CVMS PTSA• We are a school-based volunteer organization comprised of

you are parents, our teachers and our students, which supports Carmel Valley Middle School (CVMS) and the mission of the National and State PTA.

• We work closely with Laurie Francis, principal, to identify and implement programs that will support the educational experience of our children.

• We provide direct funding to CVMS to purchase items needed in the classroom that are not funded by the school district.

• We support the teachers through various grants and gifts that help ensure they have the materials needed to teach our children.

• We host/fund parent events bringing speakers to the school that will help parents better understand the critical issue effecting their young teens (e.g. Internet concerns, preparing for college, etc.).

• We provide the free manpower through volunteerism to ensure the various programs needed can be implemented successfully.
