What is the food pyramid?
The food pyramid is a pyramid that tells you the different types of foods you should include in a typical diet.
The food is divided into groups and it is recommended that you eat many different foods.
First Level
The first level of the food pyramid is cereals, grains, and derivatives (wheat, pasta, etc.)
You need 6 to 11 servings daily.
The Second Level (Part 1)
The second level (part 1) is the fresh fruit group.
You need 2 to 3 servings daily.
The Second Level (Part 2)
The second level (part 2) is the vegetable group.
You need 3 to 5 servings daily.
The Third Level (Part 1)
The third level (part 1) is the legume, meat, fish, and egg group.
You need from 3 to 5 servings daily.
Third Level (Part 2)
The third level (part 2) is the dairy product group.
You need from 2 to 3 servings daily.
The Top of the Pyramid
At the top of the pyramid is the fats, oils, and sweets group.
You should eat foods from this group in moderation.

Unhealthy Eating
When you follow the food pyramid you are eating healthy.
But there are some unhealthy eating behaviors. Anorexia Bulimia Obesity
Anorexia
Anorexia is a very serious eating disorder. It is a psychological disorder that may
lead to death, discovered in the 19th century.
Fear to be fat and desire to own a body image of extreme thinness.
Bulimia
Lack of control over the food. Intake of large amounts of food in a short
period of time, accompanied by compensatory behaviors such as excessive consumption of self induced vomiting or laxatives.
Seeking ideal weight with fear and irrational diets to gain weight.
Causes Of Anorexia and Bulimia
Low self-esteem. Excessive preoccupation with the
physical aspect Feelings of guilt after the binge that leads
them to the self-induced vomiting and abuse of laxatives.
Obesity
Obesity is a physical problem. There are many causes for obesity, for
example, eating too much or having metabolism problems.
Treatments include exercise, proper diet (follow the food pyramid), or gastric operation in some cases.
