Introduce new sound ‘ar’ by using the printed flash card or by writing down the sound. ‘ar’ for arm. For this sound, can you stretch your arm out and point to the length of the arm. Monday Phonics:

2. Can you use the word mat on the following page and the writing frame

to write a story about aliens? You can copy the words from the mat

in your story and try to use some of your sounds to spell out words.

Who is going to be in your story? What happens in your story? Remember

to read your story to your family after, try your best to use your sounds

when writing or maybe you could draw a picture of something that happens

in your story?
