This enables the smaller pigs to nurse more quickly and aggressively. A 250 ml bottle contains 100 - 2.5 ml doses. Just pump once into the newborn pig’s mouth. Swine producers face a constant struggle to reduce losses due to nutrition or disease. A study done on E. coli in piglets showed bovine colostrum was just as effective as sow colostrum in conferring resistance on the piglets.
