Yours will be an era of industrial and scientific development which will surpass,by far, even the imagination pf the past and present generations. You must pre-pare yourselves to cope with problems that are yet inconceivable, and I haveno doubt that you will master them. Your actions indicate that you are develop-ing init iat ive in your work, logic in your reasoning, and intellectual ability inyour training. As long as we of the older generations can see signs of thesecharacteristics developing in our young people, we need have no fear of thefuture.

Best wishes for a long life, filled with peace and happiness, to each of you.

Sincerely yours,

E. T. Vines,Dean
