Taiwan Tech is located in Taipei City, the capital of Taiwan. Taipei is the political, economic and cultural center of Taiwan,

and also part of a major industrial area. Railways, high-speed rail, highways, airports, and bus lines

connect Taipei with all parts of the island.

Science Council’s Distinguished Research Award.

• Optimal University-Industry Cooperation Ranked No. 4 in Taiwan after receiving the Ministry of Education’s University-Industry

Cooperation Award five times to date. Also ranked No. 1 by the National Science Council for the cumulative total of fees received for technology licensing.

• Ongoing Invention and Innovation Only university to receive the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ National Invention and Creation

Award in 2007.

• International Campus and OutreachNearly 700 international degree program students enrolled in the 2014-15

academic year (7% of total student body).

Over 450 incoming and outgoing exchange students in the 2014-15 academic year.

International students represent 44 different countries.Approximately 250 sister universities worldwide.
