NTSC and PAL are two types of color encoding systems that aect the visual

quality of content viewed on analog televisions and to a much smaller degree

content viewed on !"T#s$ %hile NTSC delivers a frame rate of &' frames per

second (fps) at an aspect ratio of *+',-.' PAL uses a frame rate of +/ fps and a

*+',/*0 aspect ratio$ The PAL system oers automated color correction

compared to NTSC1s manual color correction$ The NTSC standard is popular in

places li2e the 3$S$ and 4apan while PAL is more common in countries such as the

35 Australia and Sweden$There is a third standard called S6CA7 (Sequential

Couleur Avec 7emoire or Sequential Color with 7emory) that is used in 6astern
