NT Women’s Team selected for Imparja Cup

NT Cricket has finalised the invitational women’s squad to compete in the Imparja Cup in Alice

Springs from 17th – 23rd February 2013.

The women’s competition is in the development stage and includes a number of invitational sides to

round out the contest.

NT Cricket’s General Manager – Cricket Development & Performance, John Stock, is pleased to see

NT based cricketers presented with the opportunity to compete at a high level. “We have some very

talented female players in the Territory and I’m looking forward to seeing them in action during the

championships. It is an indication of the depth of talent in the female ranks that the NT is able to

invite such a strong team to participate this year,” he said.

The women players will continue training in Darwin and Alice Springs, before commencing their

Imparja Cup with a game against a national invitational side on Wednesday 20th February at

Albrecht Oval, Alice Springs.
