Regional Development Australia - Mid North Coast (RDA MNC) as the Regional Certifying Body,

welcomes applications for Skilled Regional Sponsored (provisional) Visas, subclass 489, from

qualified applicants in the professions listed below.

RDA MNC assesses each application on an individual basis with reference to the region’s

employment needs. Certain occupations will have nomination caps.

In no way is a nomination a guarantee of employment upon arrival in Australia. Applicants are

responsible for their own employment search and settlement within the region.

Please note** Applicants who apply for the Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa are expected to live and

work in the Mid North Coast region of NSW. This includes the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of:

Greater Taree, Port Macquarie Hastings, Kempsey, Nambucca, Bellingen and Coffs Harbour.

All Applicants MUST have the relevant skills assessment and should investigate which professional

registration/accreditations they may require to work in NSW and Australia.

Applicants should note that nomination by RDA MNC and the Department of NSW Trade and

Investment does not guarantee that a visa will be granted by the Department of Immigration and

Border Protection (DIBP).

To apply for the Skilled Regional Sponsored – 489 Visa the applicant must meet the basic

requirements as set down by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) and

include the following supporting documentation:

- Completed NSW Form R,

- Completed Form 956 (if using a Migration Agent),

- Current Resume/CV,

- Certified copy of IELTS test results,

- Certified copy of appropriate skills assessment,

- Certified copies of all educational qualifications and academic transcripts,

- Certified copy of passport details page (for applicant and dependants),

- Evidence of processing fee payment

PROCESSING FEE

An Assessment Fee of AUD $770 including GST (onshore and offshore) applies per application

submitted for request for assessment. A cheque made payable to Regional Development Australia

Mid North Coast should be submitted with the assessment application or alternatively payment can

be made by EFT to:
