12/06/2015 District meet of NSS Programme officers.

29/06/2015 Sticker Pasting

In association with Excise Department, volunteers of NSS unit pasted

“Vimukthi” stickers on KSRTC buses at KSRTC bus stand Thrissur.

07/08/2015-08/08/2015 Observance of “SWACHHTA PAKHWAD” As a part of “SWACHHTA PAKHWAD” NSS units arranged various programmes like anti-waste campaign and survey in association with Thrissur corporation, Cleaning campus and outside, taking pledge against waste etc.

Reaching the campus on Sunday, Volunteers cleaned the premises and

arranged the Class rooms.

All volunteers assembled for a session on value education and personality

development lead by Sri. M. Mukundan, Rtd. Principal, HSS,

Kadambazhippuram.

After the session volunteers were divided into 5 groups. Group leaders

were asked to identify the talents and strengths of their team members and

plan activities accordingly. Different committees were constituted for the

effective functioning of the camp.

At 6.00 A.M all volunteers gathered for the assembly. Assembly

started with NSS Song and thought for the day was delivered. After the

physical exercise, volunteers were informed about the day‟s schedule.

Work was started with „smradhanam‟ cleanliness of the school and its

premises.

Volunteers assembled in the auditorium for inaugural ceremony at

10.00 A.M. Ms. Fiji Raphel (NSS P.O) delivered the welcome address.

NSS Secretary Ms. Aswathy. E presented the Report. Presidential address

was delivered by Dr.Rev.Fr. Babu K.T (Principal, St. Aloysius college,

Elthuruth). The seven day camp was inaugurated by

Smt. Anitha K.V (Panchayath President, Panancherry Panchayath).

Felicition was offered by Smt. Fousiya Moideen (Panchayath

Member,ward No.13, Panancherry Panchayath) and Fr. George

Kannamplakkal (P.T.A President, Govt. L.P School, Peechi). Vote of

thanks was proposed by NSS Secretary Mr. Arun Sugathan.

In the afternoon session, a session on Group Dynamics was handled by

Mr. Brinto K.P ( NSS Technical Cell, Thrissur.)

In the evening the students formed groups and made the surroundings

clean and neat. After, the cultural programme was conducted by the

volunteers.

with NSS Song, thought for the day was delivered and camp paper was

released. After the physical exercise, volunteers were informed about the

day‟s schedule. Work was started with „smradhanam‟ cleanliness of the

school and its premises and plants were watered.

A session on „Accidents and Precautions‟ was lead by Sri. O.A. Babu

(Mobile Traffic Team Leader) in the forenoon session

followed by Swatch Bharath Abhiyan activities in the afternoon session.

After, the cultural programme was conducted by the volunteers.

In the forenoon session, Swatch Bharath Abhiyan Rally was conducted.

Followed by a session on Personal Excellence by Sri. Bastin

Cheruvathoor(Motivational Trainer).

released. After the physical exercise, volunteers were informed about the

day‟s schedule. Work was started with „smradhanam‟ cleanliness of the

school and its premises.

A session on „career options‟ was handled by Mr. Jaison Jose(Assistant

Professor, St. Aloysius College)

followed by a session on nature lead by Dr.Jain J Therattil(Assistant

Professor, St. Aloysius College).

In the evening Dr. Rev. Fr. Babu K.T (Principal, St. Aloysius College)

Rev.Fr. Anthony P.V, Mr. Federik,Ms. Bolie Therattil, Dr. Jain J Therattil,

Mr. Jaison Jose, Mr. Jaison, Mr. Raveesh Warrior (Faculty Members, St.

Aloysius College), visited the camp and wished and delivered Christmas

message.

After the programme, volunteers organized a „Nadanpattukalari‟.

At 6.00 A.M all volunteers gathered for the assembly. Assembly started

with NSS Song, thought for the day was delivered and Camp paper was

released. After the physical exercise, volunteers were informed about the

day‟s schedule. Work was started with „smradhanam‟.

NSS Volunteers celebrated their Christmas day with members of

“Akashaparavakal”, a charitable institution for the destitute and deprived.

Volunteers took initiative to interact with all the members and staged

various entertainments for the inmates and encouraged inmates to come on

stage and display their skills.

In the evening volunteers assembled for cultural activities.

After the regular assembly and work volunteers gathered for the

Valedictory function. After that students shared their experiences and

testified how the camp has helped them to overcome their stage fear and

be more confident. The best team, best campers and best workers were

selected and rewarded.
