• Teachers  are  designing  lessons  that  have  meaningful  assignments  for  students.    These  assignments  can  be  an  extension  of  a  current  lesson,  a  lesson  that  targets  a  specific  skill,  a  long-‐term  focus  for  a  particular  class,  and/or  preparation  for  state  testing.

• While  the  majority  of  the  work  assigned  during  the  E-‐Day  will  be  completed  outside  of  class,  teaches  will  incorporate  some  time  during  the  two  week  window  to  support  student  needs  with  completion  of  the  assignments.

• Please  make  sure  the  length  of  the  assignment  is  appropriate  for  the  developmental  age  of  the  student.    There  should  be  consistency  in  reference  of  the  length  of  the  assignments  across  the  grade  level  or  content  areas.
