Local History Talk: Elmer Ellsworth

Ever wonder who those mixed-use buildings along Route 9 are

named after? Join Malta Town Historian Paul Perreault to learn

about the Malta-born Colonel Elmer Ellsworth. He was a close

friend to Abraham Lincoln, the first Union officer killed in the

Civil War, and laid in state at the

White House.
