This is a real lesson of stewardship. St. Paul, as an Apostle, does not only proclaim the gospel of God. He makes

himself a part of the entire work of evangelization. Everything that he taught he confirms by his life.

In the last twenty years, we have talked a lot about the new evangelization. Words and actions were used to bring

our heart. It is I that first has to be evangelized. Priests, nuns and laity first have to evangelize themselves every

day. It begins in our spiritual life, then it goes to our personal relationship with Christ and finally it leads to the

proclamation of the gospel of God confirmed by our lifestyle.

Today you have to give your answer about the testimony you give. You are the apostle of Jesus Christ. What do

What’s Happening at Our Parish...

Weekly Mass Flower Offering

In Memory of Oscar Sandoval

If you would like to donate flowers for a weekend Mass in memory of a loved one, contact Joanne in the parish office at [email protected] or 303-799-1036.

Cost is $35.00 per week.

Respect For Life

“That special power of loving that belongs to a woman is seen most clearly when she becomes a mother. Motherhood is the gift of God to women. How grateful we must be to God for this wonderful gift that brings such joy to the whole world, women and men alike!

Yet we can destroy this gift of motherhood, especially by the evil of abortion, but also by thinking that other things like jobs or positions are more important than loving, than giving oneself to others.

No job, no plans, no possessions, no idea of “freedom” can take the place of love. So anything that destroys God’s gift of moth-erhood destroys His most precious gift to women– the ability to love as a woman.”

~ St. Mother Teresa

The Catholic Legacy Society was created to honor our legacy donors who have named their parish, Catholic school or a ministry of the Diocese of Colorado Springs as a beneficiary in their will or trust, retirement account, charitable gift annuity or charitable trust, life insurance policy, or through the establishment of an endowed fund.

The Diocese is grateful to acknowl-edge these special benefactors during their lifetimes. And, in conjunction with our mission, this special society provides an opportunity for benefac-tors to make their philanthropy a perpetual legacy for themselves and an example for their families. It also creates an infrastructure of support that makes our parishes, schools and ministries stronger, sustainable and better equipped to reach future generations.

If you have named your parish, a Catholic school or a ministry of the Diocese of Colorado Springs in your estate plan, or are considering doing so, we invite you to become a member of the Catholic Legacy Society.
