ITINERARYAugust 13 – Pre-DepartureIf applicable, due to early flight times, pre-departure accommodations in Omaha are included. Pick-up times will be adjusted accordingly and complete details will be sent with your final travel documents.

August 14 – Depart Omaha / Arrive in Halifax, Nova ScotiaMeet us at one of our many convenient pick-up points as we make our way to Omaha’s Eppley Airfield and connect to our flight to Halifax, the capital of the province of Nova Scotia. Upon arrival we transfer to our hotel for our two-night stay and enjoy a welcome dinner with the remainder of your evening on your own to enjoy the great centralized location. (D)

August 15 – Halifax, NS / Peggy’s CoveThis morning we acquaint ourselves with Halifax, Nova Scotia’s oldest and most culturally diverse city with our local, step-on guide. See its beautiful waterfront area as well as many other must-see sights. Later, we head out to picturesque Peggy’s Cove located on the rocky shores of the Northern Atlantic. Make sure to grab your cameras and snap a shot at Peggy’s Point Lighthouse, the most photographed lighthouse in Canada and one of the most recognizable in the world! Here we also enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the unpredictable ocean surf before making our way back to Halifax and an evening to enjoy at your leisure. (B, L)

August 16 – Cape Breton Island / Alexander Graham Bell National Historic SiteToday we head out of Halifax for beautiful Cape Breton Island. Located at the eastern end of Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island is best known for its rugged cliffs, rich history and unique cultural heritage. This afternoon we’ll visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, one of the most popular attractions in Canada, before checking-in for our two-night stay and enjoying an evening meal together. (B, D)

August 17 – Cabot Trail / Whale Watching CruiseUnforgettable scenery awaits! Today we travel along the world-renowned Cabot Trail with our local step-on guide. The Cabot Trail winds around Cape Breton Highlands National Park through charming small villages and some of the most spectacular coastal scenery anywhere. A picnic lunch along the way will also be provided for a relaxing look at this incredible landscape. Also today, weather permitting, we’ll take part in a whale watching cruise! Pleasant Bay is one of the most spectacular whale watching places in the world. Many different whale specials can be seen here, including Minke, Sperm, Blue, Humpbacks and world’s largest population of Northern Long fin Pilot Whale. You’ll also have the opportunity to see Cape Breton’s other amazing sea life, including bald eagles, grey seals, leatherback turtles and more! Tonight we come together and talk about today’s adventures over dinner. (B, L, D)

August 18 – Charlottetown, Prince Edward IslandToday’s travels take us to Prince Edward Island via our 75-minute ferry ride on the Northumberland Strait. Early this afternoon enjoy a local, step-on guided tour of Charlottetown, the capital and largest city of Prince Edward Island as well as an evening meal after checking into our accommodations for the next two nights. (B, D)

August 19 – Prince Edward IslandToday features a full-day guided tour of Prince Edward Island! See its most famous sights such as Prince Edward Island National Park, the Anne of Green Gables Museum along with the islands sandy beaches, quaint villages and scenic woodlands. This evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. (B)

August 20 – Hopewell Rocks / McSweeney’s Dinner TheatreThis morning we cross the 8-mile long Confederation Bridge, linking Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick, Canada. Enjoy lunch at High Tide Cafe, located alongside the Bay of Fundy, known having the world’s highest tides, as well as a guided tour of Hopewell Rocks, formed by the Bay’s tidal erosion. Continue onto Moncton where we enjoy a delicious meal and lovely entertainment at McSweeney’s Dinner Theatre. (B, L, D)

August 21 – Lobster Tales Lunch Cruise / HalifaxThis morning we make our way to the coastal town of Shediac, known as the “Lobster Capital of the World!” Here we board our Lobster Tales Lunch Cruise and an experience you won’t soon forget! This guided, two and a half hour adventure on the bay will give you an education in lobster fishing, an instruction on cooking, cracking and eating lobster as well as a freshly-cooked lobster meal fit for a king! This afternoon we continue back to Halifax, where you’ll have your last evening in Nova Scotia free to spend along the beautiful Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk. (B, L)

August 22 – Return HomeWe’ll check-out this morning and make our way to Halifax Stanfield International Airport for our return flight back to Omaha. Spend one last day with your newly made friends and Moostash Joe Tour Director before saying goodbye with many memories of gorgeous coastal Canada to share with family and friends as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points.
