Bristol Airport was visited by Enter Air this month which flew their 737-800 to the airport. The reason
for the visit is unknown however it is suspected that it was a charter service to Ski Holiday destina-
tions for tourists, just like last month. Holiday companies will hire in a aircraft to get their tourists from
A to B, which is why the destination isn’t marked on FR24 because it is not a scheduled airline flight.
Bristol Airport gets many of these throughout the year.

BAS Admin, Callum Payne, has decided to start work on a miniature version of Bristol Airport. It is
scheduled to be finished by Easter, and will be displayed at the next Aviation Fair. Callum is using
his own time and money (£30 per plane and £40 for the protective acrylic, plus another £40 for the
accessories to put it in perspective) for the project, while working alongside (not instead) of running
the BAS website / Facebook. Airlines on the layout will include easyJet, Ryanair, Thomson, KLM,
Aurigny, Thomas Cook, Air Malta, SAS and the pos-
sibility of Helvetic, Aer Lingus, and BMI Regional.

Scandinavian Airlines has announced direct flights between Bristol and Stockholm for summer 2015, following a successful first summer season in 2014. Ideal for weekend breaks, twice weekly flights on Friday and Mondays will commence on 26 June and continue until 14 August, with prices starting from just £126 return, including all taxes and charges. Tickets are on sale now and those booking early will secure the lowest prices.
Convenient flight times mean west country residents need only take a half day’s holiday to enjoy a
Swedish summer weekend break, with flights departing at 14.35 on Friday afternoons and returning
in time to impress workmates with Swedish tales on Monday morning, arriving into Bristol at 08.40.
SAS Continue route to Bristol Airport
easyJet announce 4 new routes
easyJet has announced its plans for four new routes from the airport to Lanzarote, Catania, Porto and Gibraltar
from Summer 2015.
The new destinations follow easyJet’s five year agreement with Bristol Airport last winter to continue growth at
the airport, and will result in an extra aircraft being located at the base. There will now be up to 12 easyJet air-
craft based at the airport from Summer 2015.
The new routes are on sale at www.easyjet.com and will further extend the range of easy and affordable desti-
nations available to holidaymakers in Bristol and the surrounding areas. In total, easyJet now flies to 50 desti-
nations from Bristol – more than any other airline from the airport – keeping the South West well connected to
Europe and beyond. More than 1.3 million seats are on sale for flights to and from the city next summer alone
from 1 June to 6 September 2015.

We are very sorry but due to me getting a new laptop, and I will need to
transfer over my files, there will be no newsletter for December. Things
a further complicated as I am in Maidstone from 28th—31st December.
We apologize for any inconvenience and to make up for this we will
merge the January and December newsletters into one.
