NOTIFICATION

Sub: UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship / Eligibility for Lectureship

30th June, 2013

1. The UGC, New Delhi is conducting the UGC-NET for JRF and eligibility for Lectureship, on 30th

June, 2013 at Bangalore with the assistance of Bangalore University. For the said purpose

University has identified 26 institutions as centres of examination. Prof.H.C.Vajrappa,

Department of Geology, is designated as Coordinator for conduct of examination.

2. Candidates are advised to visit UGC Website: www.ugc.ac.in for detailed instructions relating

to the test. As per the UGC guidelines, details of Venue of test and seating arrangement areuploaded on this website vide Annexure A. Candidates are advised to acquaint themselves

the landmarks of their respective venues so as to reach the venue well in time.

3. Candidates are advised to ascertain their venue and fill in the details in the space provided in

the admissions card to be produced by them in examination hall.

4. As mentioned in the guidelines, Bangalore University will not be issuing admission card to

any candidate.

5. It is once again specified that though Bangalore University, Bangalore 560 056, is the

Coordinating institution, the venues of test are 26 different Sub-centres in Bangalore city. No

examination / test for any person / subject is conducted at Bangalore University,

Jnanabharathi, Bangalore 560 056.

6. As required by UGC vide their letter No.F-15-4 (Dec, 2012/2012 (NET) dated 01.12.2012,

following instruction are uploaded for benefit of candidates: -

It is notified that the hard copies of application forms / fee challan / attendance

slip and other documents of following candidates whose Roll Numbers are listed

vide Annexure B and C, have not been received by the Coordinating

University/College. All such candidates whose Roll Numbers are listed here are

required to bring two copies of their Admission Card one copy of it must be

submitted to the invigilator after completion of the examination.

7. Around 1100 candidates have not submitted their hard copies of application forms / feechallan / attendance slip and other documents, to Bangalore University. They are requested

to follow the instructions mentioned above without fail. Accordingly before entering their

examination hall, they are required to make 02 (two) copies of their admission card out of

which one shall be submitted to invigilator compulsorily.
