KINSALE YACHT CLUB NOTICE OF RACE FASTNET RACE 2018 • Saturday 16 th June FG 12:55 HRS • Open event – no entry fee • All in ECHO and IRC • SI’s and entry form on KYC.ie • This is a mono hull Category 3 race as per the ‘World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations January 2018 to December 2019 including updates January 2018. Each yacht is also required to have onboard a life raft of sufficient size to cater for the total number of crew onboard and hold a valid in-date service certificate for the raft. • A safety inspection may take place of all competing boats at the marina or before the start at the discretion of the safety inspection officer. Competitors are asked to present their boats for inspection not later than 1100 hrs on the 16 th June 2018. • Cutoff time 18:00 Sunday 17 th June 2018. • Prizegiving in Kinsale Yacht Club on Wednesday 20 th June after racing.
